One regular day:
Me: GUY! I have the best new business plan idea!
DTH: Is it actually a business plan, or is it just a name of a business?
Me: … Basically a name, but the concept is there too.
DTH: *stares at me bemused with the earliest onset of a headache*
Me: Okay, you know how when people shop at liiiike shopping centers they walk around a lot and have to pee?
DTH: Mhmm.
Me: Well, there’s a solution – a store that is just bathrooms! Called Urine Luck. *Insert jazz hands and “ta da!” face.
DTH: *blank stare*. So, a port-a-potty.
Me: Noooo, it’s like an actual store front but inside is just bathrooms. Think of the Gap… but with toilets.
DTH: You should probably go to bed now.
Me: But don’t you think it’s an awesome idea? I’ve been thinking about it all day. URINE LUCK!
DTH: Okay. Good night, babe.
On Christmas morning:
Me: Babe, there are no rules! It’s Christmas!
DTH: Yes, but, you like to invent rules out of the clear blue, so it’s hard to tell sometimes.
I secretly have spent the past 48 hours referring to myself internally as the Peyton Manning of desserts after a last minute change in Christmas dinner plans forced an audible and resulted in this slightly boozy and indulgent dessert.
