The great news is that we are very very adaptive. There really isn’t an equal bad news to match it. Just the note that our schedules and life are always, always changing. I’ve transitioned into a full time role as marketing director with a non-profit I’ve had the pleasure of working with for 2 years. David has settled into a new job with better hours and a negligible commute. These are all SUCH positive changes, but every shift means growing pains, and we’re right in the thick of them. But the upside to growing pains is, well… growth. And I’m so excited for our family to continue progressing as these girlies grow (faster than I can comprehend).
One thing that isn’t changing, are meal times. I have a back log of recipe rundowns to share, and this seems like the best place to start.
Play Dough – This was an easy, great play dough recipe for the girls. I know everyone has their favorite, but in the event you’re jonesing for a new one… this one is great.
Healthy Banana Muffins – Just like play dough, everyone has their favorite go-to muffins. We try a lot, because the girls really like them for breakfast, and these were a good one for the arsenal.
Perfect Rice Krispie Treats – I mean, rice krispie treats are rice krispie treats, right? I thought so too. But I really love the marshmallow ratio here.
Martha Stewart’s Slow Cooker Braised Pork – I don’t actually love that many Martha Stewart recipes, but this was hearty and really good.
Pizza Chicken – The girls loved this, and I really like it too!
Fish Florentine – This was delicious. The kind of recipe that feels very very fancy, but is a cinch to put together and a huge winner. It felt like a date on a plate.
Irish Shepherd’s Pie – I LOVE this recipe. I use premade mashed potatoes to save some time, a I use ground turkey, and it never fells.
Slow Cooker Chicken Shawarma – This is an all time favorite that we never tire of.
Chipotle Orange Street Tacos – This was a tasty recipe. Forgettable, which I didn’t expect. But solid.
Crockpot Crispy Pork Ramen – Another all time favorite of ours. I love this recipe. I always skip the squash, but I’m sure it would be delicious.
Creamy Parmesan Orzo with Chicken and Asparagus – LOVED this and will make it again soon. Very soon.
Pork and Sage Breakfast Meatballs – My big girls are BIG fans of meatballs, so I’m always trying new versions. This one was a hit.
Green Chili – hearty, filling and just really good.
Chicken Paprikash – This was yummy; however, I’ll be sticking to my favorite Eat Live Run chicken paprika in the future.
